Mandatory Bloggery- FAE Premiere Photo's, Shredding and BornRetard Madness

Throw the meat on the grill and get yer shred on for a few hours.
My momma always says "A watched pot never boils."
Started the day off proper by meeting up with LP and the Filipino King.
These two are always on them street vibes.
Little man, big bar.
Met up with the bub Jimmy Carlin for some shredding in the Mission Valley area.
DJ Dunce Cap
Rare photo of myself in action. Like a sasquatch sighting.
Costco pizza is the best bang for your buck.
Skated this beauty for about two minutes before getting the boot from security.
Later on at the house we had a FAE premiere.
Everyone was having a good time reminiscing on the good times we had in a parking lot pushing wood.
Tim was putting his culinary skills to good use so we could doctor up some hot dogs.
Voila!
Deep conversation with the mentally challenged.
Cock-shot. Just the tip.
One hell of a hot dog party.
The Filipino King had the best part. Skated to David Bowie with an ode to the legendary Steve Olson.
"We're lawyers!"
It was a fun night.
The next morning I awoke to realize BornRetard was deep in slumber on my couch.
So I went to Smart N Final for some bbq supplies.
Beef Brisket! Time to stick this sucker in the grill and smoke it for 9 hours!
While the meat was cooking, BornRetard enjoyed himself some Biscuit time.
He loves his dirt naps, just like his daddy.
Then I locked BornRetard out of the house for old times sake.
Through the looking glass.
Spider in the sunlight. Loving my new camera. My previous IPhone 4S was not this clear.
BornRetard lost his fake teeth. It was gross.
'Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!'
Only a face a mother could love.
H decided to Hans-filter himself.
Like an old walrus that had his tusks removed.
Floor time.
'Voices in my head time.'
9 hours later the brisket came out of the grill nice and tender.
Look at that bark!
Photo opportunities ensue.
Meat! Glorious meat!
The brisket came out nice and juicy with a decent smoke ring. Not bad for my first time!
Everybody enjoyed the food, the laughs and the company. Great times.
Biscuit got to roam in the garden pretty late this day.
Brisket sandwiches on budget hamburger buns. If the meat is good, the bread matters not.
Look at that face!
Remember that flyer I was working on? Here is the finished product.
Life is pretty good! Shred hard and get your fill!

Mandatory Bloggery- Straight Up Shredding and Feasting

"Do what you love and let it kill you."
-Charles Bukowski
Left over pork shoulder and mac 'n cheese.
Love this shirt!
Artsy fartsy.
Making a flyer.
The bub Dolan Stearns does cool drawings. Imitation is the best form of flattery. I decided to give his style a try.
He loves the window.
Purchase is mandatory. Grilled onions and pickles are mandatory. 'Animal style' fries are mandatory.
God Bless America and free riding individuals that ride choppers.
Guess who is back in town?
Peek-a-boo. I see you.
American made and locally owned. This is a great beer.
Had some sushi from the deli at Smart and Final. It was pricey but good.
Carnitas Snack Shack. The 'Triple Threat' sandwich.
Shredded pork, pork patty and bacon with pickles and some sort of jelly. A real heart clogger.
EATFIEND APPROVED!
Can't wait for the gout....
The more you move, the easier it is to move.
Robb Field Skatepark, A.K.A. Shockus Park.
The bubs Stewart and Andy showed up to scratch some grinds!
Chicano Skatepark. This place is so fun minus the lines in the ground.
Slayer for life!
My favorite album.
The bub Stewart with a sweet boardslide.
Slamming is a part of skateboarding. We fall so we may learn to pick ourselves up.
The bub Jakob working on his wall rides. Way to go Jakob!
I'm tired too.
Have you watched the FAE vid yet?
City Heights sesh with The Filipino King and LP. Two serious rippers right there.

Mandatory Bloggery- Sorrento Valley Shredding w/ the Bubs

Banger of a day when it's this action packed.
Covered all the bases on this one.
Decided to make some smoothies out of some ripe produce from the 'fridge. Didn't want the food to go to waste.
My glass of choice. I was feeling energetic.
Then The King arrived and we enduldged in some skate vids while we thought of a spot to shred.
If he fits, he sits.
Spot check with Tim. Reminiscing  on days with more resilient legs.
Perfect metal ledge in Sorrento Valley. This thing is a perfect street spot!
Matthew wasted no time shredding it. Took me a few slams to get my legs warmed up.
The bub Cody was there and he shredded harder than everyone there.
TheKing is always on that filming kick. I'm excited for 'Go-Gag'
Did I mention Jimmy was there? It was good to lurk and bullshit with him and his clown pants.
Paul Sewell, technician on the stick and nicest man ever.
Nothing but love for this guy.
The bub Andy Mack front board to fakie this bad boy. Sick!
Nerding out on the famous Sorrento Valley ditch. So many pros have annihilated this thing.
Muy grande hand rail. Only 3 or 4 people have skated this behemoth.
Corey Duffel owns it though with a boardslide, backside grind and a heavy crooks.
I was trying to convince Tim that he could 50-50 it but his legs were dusted.
We hit up New York Wings and Ribs for dinner. I love this place.
They went with the chiptole fries and I had the 5 piece hot tender meal with an ice cold Bud and extra side of ranch.
Then I went home and was relieved to see that the bottle of beer I put in the freezer the night before hadn't exploded.
I'd feel like a jerk if I didn't mention PSA flight 182....
On September 25th, 1978 a private Cessna had a mid-air collision with flight 182 and my neighborhood (my corner in particular) was the crash site. 135 passenger and 7 people on ground including two children were among the fatalities.
Every year there is a memorial service. It's aired on television and all of the victims names are written on the sidewalk with chalk, so that they are not forgotten. So sad.
Enough of that...
It's good to be alive!
Back to work!
