Mandatory Bloggery- Jenkem Presents- Cooking pierogies w/ Quim Cardona & Yaje Popson

It's always fun to see how your fellow skater grubs down... Check out how NYC skateboarding legend Quim Cardona gets it!
Maybe it'll motivate you to make your own pierogies!
"It's so nice to cook for friends, y'know?"
We here at EF couldn't agree more.
Enjoy!

Mandatory Bloggery- Shaping Recycled Shred Sleds, Kaiserhoff & Gone Cemental Vid Premiere at Pack Ratt Records / Route 44

A little of this, a little of that. Keep your nose to the grindstone, work hard, get creative and stay active!
'Nuff said.
Gathering ideas for recycled skateboard projects.
Old radio / record player I saw.
Imagine something like this made out of recycled skateboards...
Burrito I devoured at El Indio taco shop on India street. This place played an integral part in opening my pallet for Mexican food. Used to eat here twice a week for two years back when I worked at Hanger 18 skate shop just two blocks south. Eating this behemoth sparked some good memories.
Planing wood for my buddy, Kip. He commissioned me to build him some shelves for his kitchen area!
Putting this wood planer to work.
Beautimous.
The learning curve to building some shelves has been a bit loopy to say the least.
Curb porn.
Fried chicken from a place out in Santee. I'm drawing a blank on the name of the joint.
There is no bad picture of my bub.
Slowly yet surely...
Biscuit is my helper. My yard is often my work shop.
Look at that stretch!
The pipe clamps are one of my most used tools.
Hyped the roses are exploding in my back yard.
He loves it too.
Get yourself a 'Chris Larue' pro model at www.lurkville.com
Art by Todd Francis killing it once again.
Chicken thigh stew.
See what I said?
Beautiful. I want tot try and build something like this.
Went to the Kaiserhof restaurant in Ocean Beach.
My sister in-law.
Giant baked pretzel for an appetizer.
I went for the pork schnitzel and got nostalgic of Eatfiend Abroad.
Happy birthday Hank!
Coupla' goofs!
The next evening I went to the Gone Cemental Skate Zine premiere of their pool skating vid called "Heavy Buzz". The premiere was in the back of PackRatt Records/Route 44. Projected on a wall in an alley. It was gritty and fun.
Photos of people in the vid for free.
Patti McGee!
Homemade baked cookies and vanilla ice cream.
Fold over warm baked cookies onto ice cream so it gets all soft and mooshy.
Then, devour!
More glue ups!
Same as it ever was.

Welcome back to another blog of the randomness I am confronted with on a daily basis....
This is a seriously addicting combination.
I spy with my little eye....
A Julien Stranger, Santa Monica Airlines pro model!
Complete with vintage "Slime Balls".
Been killing it with the Ramen noddle soup. Just add some frozen meatballs and diced potato's.
Asparagus and a raw egg!
Mix into a bowl and bon apetite!
Dessert.
Recycled skateboards wood working in progress.
My furry little monster man.
The journey continues.
Saw this out in the wild. Couldn't tell if it was a re-issue.

Love me some Love Letters.

Part 2!
Sid Melvin board.
Picture me rolling.
New menu option at Costco.
Drunken nights at Mike & Robbie's.
Nom nom nom nom nom...
Congrats to Cody and Kayleigh Carlin on their new baby.
She's a real cutie!
More glue ups.
Slappy's Garage ha d a video premiere.
Here's a pic of Jason Carney (owner of Slappy's Garage skate shop) and Jame Brockman!
Heavy crowd.
People were hyped on the video.
Tommy Sandoval hyping the crowd.
It was a good night filled with positive vibes.
Makayla pointing out here bgp's!
Then I walked home and scouted out some street spots.
Late night beer run on the walk home.
Legit curb spots.
