Mandatory Bloggery- Return To Chicago Chinnanigans part 2

WE RETURN TO OUR BELOVED BLOG! BACK TO EARLY AUGUST IN CHICAGO, ILLINOIS!...
Hubba, hubba!
Miller's Pub with the best art.
Hungry bubs!
I ordered two meat balls, a sausage link, Jameson whiskey neat and a Miller's Pub t-shirt!
Exact same meal I had......Five years prior.
Mikey went with the corned beef! Good choice, bub!
Next time, I'll get the blackened catfish sandwich.
Then I chose to take a solo walk back to the hostel.
Saw this place.
More iconic Chicago river shots.
Looming. Love to take pictures of buildings in the middle of the night.
Schpots!
Time to take over the communal kitchen.
And play us some beer pong!
Loved this house.
Old school art.
Me and the boys!
See the one guy at the eft end of the table all passed out?
Me and the boys! (again)
Sadly, a private party was showing up and we didn't get to roll.
Now that's what I call "news"!
Okay.
We hed down this table for the better part of 3 hours.
Place was eclectic looking on the inside. New bars nowadays don't look this cool anymore.
Swiping left or right...
Seems like all the new hoity-toity bars look like this place in SD, nowadays.
En route to our next drinking spot, I found us a fried chicken spot!
Stoked!
I will be coming back to this place.
Fair prices. It was so good, I didn't even get to take a pic. I just woof'd it down, like a dog.
The bar from "Uncle Buck"! One of my favorite John Candy, movies.
Jameson on the rocks.
Place was packed due to the rain.
We were more than happy to get a booth.
It was raining cats and dogs.
OH YEA!!!
On to "Richard's" AKA the smoking bar.
Marc had a smoke (he's not a smoker) and he got nauseous. I think he gave himself nicotine poisoning.
Salty dogs.
Nothing has changed since we were last here.
Same two dudes running the place.
This ugly bub...
He's single and looking to mingle!
The whole trip, two minutes into being anywhere he'd say "So where are we going next?"
Fuck you too, bub...
Back to our humble abode for some Jim Beam and pedialyte.
Beer run.
To come back to Pat taking over the whole kitchen. We didn't meet too many cool people. Mostlyt awkward teens and young adults.
Nobody as cool as this guy.
FUCKING HUNGRY, BUB!!!
Basically he was working, but it's not work when your having fun, I say.
A regular Gordon fuckin' Ramsey.
The finest meat the mid-west has to offer from the market!
We mowed it down.
We ruled the inside of the 'fridge too.
Off to the "Ravens". Five years prior, we would use this place as a homebase of sorts.
Outside we saw a man in a wheelchair get denied access into the bar because the bar had no wheelchair access. As he was rolling away we couyld hear him say "Fuck this bar!" and then his friend replie "Let's just go steal some liquor from the store around the corner." It was the wheel chair guys birthday.
Pat somehow convince himself that everyone in the bar wanted to kick his ass. It was hilarious.
No fights happened.
The old balancing act.
The old pissing in the street as the locals do, act.
We held down the curb outside the hostel, too!
The next morning. The big push!
MVP. The bub had me laughing every time he opened his mouth.
Piquod's Pizza!
Noted.
The old jalapeno ball in the beer gag.
Moments before the great pepper gag of 2018.
The crust was the best part!
I mowed it down.
Dusted.
Do good, Die great
Mike Rusczyk spot.
Rat watching with Mikey. He didn't believe us.
Sums up Mikey in a one photo. Zero fucks given.
"What's hoppin'?"
Had heaps of fun with this game.
Later Chicago...
Iconic car chase street.
One more barf in streets upon getting onto a plane and heading back to SD.
One last look at the river.
Last Chicago dog of the trip.
Also, you don't put ketchup o a Chicago dog.
Old meets the new. Five years apart.
The first thing I ordered when I got home...
