Mandatory Bloggery- Curb Cult and Recycled Skateboards Cult

Call it a brain fart. Call it slacking on the blog. Call it whatever you want...
But, I'm pretty sure I haven't blogged a bunch of the photos.
Wizard Retreat 2019 blog coming soon!
Staying busy. Haven't worked the wood shop in a while, but that's no excuse to not be productive.
Sitting on the curb scraping skate decks can be humbling.
Lurkville Skateboards, made in the USA!
My assistant.
Cruised to PD to have a mini premiere of the IDabble issue #1.
Picked up this gem while I was there! 9 inches!
Wish I could draw like this!
Street art.
Copped a few of these books for the Look Back Library.
Today's harvest.
Kellen James 'black panther' board.
PD shop sled. This type of wood is in fact, the same wood as Anti Hero, Krooked and REAl.
Jimmy Wilkins, Creature sled.
"Throw that (scooter) thing in the dumper."
Grinding away any way I know how to. I was keeping it clean too.
All ready to be chopped and ripped.
Snoopy's cousin. FA
More sleds.
Getting to chopping. I have all the tools I need. Just lack a work space.
Noses and tails.
I throw nothing away.
Time to rip them into strips.
Rips on rips.
Picking a color scheme.
Management was pleased with the days productivity.
He rewarded be with a homemade taco.
Then
I
Had
Another
One!
Chicken this time!
He was all tuckered out.
Diamonds in rough.
Daily clampings are a must.
Building an inventory. Merely the tip of the iceberg.
Morning motivation.
So stoked!
Night sesh at City Heights park.
With this beautiful human.
Mood.
Grilled cheese and ketchup for the kid inside me.
Bastard in a basket.
Speaking of crazy bastards, this guy is all tuckered out 'cuz he feels the need to wack the blinds in the middle of the night, waking me from my slumber. I still love the little bugger.
Never knew about this. Might have to research it online.
More breakfast offerings. Spinach is really good with butter and scrambled eggs.
More sanding. Finishing up projects at this stage can be very, very tedious.
Looks like a speeding television.
The corners are the hardest area to get when sanding. The suffer burn marks from the router bit that I use to carve out the tray area.
Coasters! Note: I need to route these bad boys.
More clampings.
And a reward for myself.
I really love the pepperoni pizza at Island Pasta in Coronado.
Greeeeeeeeeeasy!
Hello lil' guy!
Lunch time leftovers.
Killing it on the saving money department.
Homemade grilled cheese with diced ham.
Food porn!
Bubs.
Early tattoo's on David's legs.
No grill, no problem.
Love this stuff.
I also love grilling out doors. Makes me wanna go camping.
I spy with my little eye......
Management.
Time to shove these bad boys through the wood planer.
This one was wider but not as thick. I milled these strips at a 1/4".
This one looks amazing.
Brownies.
Ooooooooo, pretty Skittles rail! Taste the rainbow!
Need.
These are good.
Back at it...
Love this little guy.
